Cats & Guitars Art Show

ENTRIES ARE NOW CLOSED

ELIGIBILITY
The Cats & Guitars exhibition is open to everyone. The only limitation is that entries must represent original works of art or design and must contain an image of or reference to a cat AND a guitar, ukulele, banjo, mandolin, lute, or bass guitar (guitar cases are acceptable).

MEDIA
A variety of artworks are welcome for submission, including: oil, watercolor, acrylic, graphite, charcoal, pastels, photography, ceramics, printmaking, textile, mixed media, video, and sculpture/three dimensional pieces. Even actual guitars!

HOW TO SUBMIT
Please submit a high-resolution digital image of each piece you are submitting. Email images to catsandguitarsartshow@gmail.com no later than November 28, 2015. Please include the following information in your email:
1) Name
2) Address
3) Phone number
4) Email

For each item being submitted, please list the following:
1) Title of work
2) Medium
3) Dimensions
4) Price (includes 50% gallery commission) or NFS
5) Description of how piece should be hung/displayed
6) Name of digital image file you are sending

Submissions must contain an accurate representation (including any planned framing or display apparatus) of work to be exhibited. Show management and gallery staff will review all submissions and make final selections.

NOTIFICATION
Artists will be notified of acceptance or non-acceptance no later than December 1, 2015. Notification will be made via email and by posting on the gallery website.

DELIVERY OF ARTWORK
ARTWORK MUST BE DELIVERED FRAMED OR MOUNTED AND READY TO BE HUNG. Artists can ship accepted artwork to: Hauspanther LLC, 530 E McDowell Rd, #107-433, Phoenix, AZ 85004. Shipped works must arrive by December 15, 2015. Hand delivery will be on December 15 at Chartreuse, 1301 NW Grand Avenue, Phoenix, AZ.

IMAGE USE/COPYRIGHTS
Artist retains all copyrights to submitted images and represented artwork. Digital images submitted with artist entry are for exhibition selection only and will be deleted after completion of the selection process. Artists selected for the exhibit grant Chartreuse and the show producer rights to use the selected image(s) on printed materials and the gallery and show web sites for promotional purposes only. Chartreuse and show producer retain no copyrights.

SALES
All work, unless indicated as not for sale (NFS), will be available for sale during the exhibit. Chartreuse will retain a commission of 50% on all artwork sold during the exhibition.

RETURN OF UNSOLD WORK
Pick-up of any unsold work will be on January 25, 2016 at Chartreuse. Out-of-state artists and anyone unable to pick-up on January 25 must provide a UPS or FedEx account number or pre-paid label in order to have unsold artwork returned.
